Key Responsibilities
Website Maintenance and Enhancements
- Development and Customization: Build, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites to deliver top-notch user experiences.
- Theme Customization: Modify and tailor WordPress themes to align with unique branding and functional requirements.
- Plugin Development: Create and customize WordPress plugins to introduce or extend website functionality.
Performance Optimization
- Ensure websites are optimized for speed, responsiveness, and scalability across all devices and browsers.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, using advanced caching and optimization techniques.
Security
- Implement WordPress security best practices to safeguard websites from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and address security issues proactively to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
Responsive Design
- Design and develop websites with a focus on mobile-first design principles to ensure compatibility across all screen sizes.
- Maintain consistent user experiences across various devices and browsers.
Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors to ensure smooth website functionality.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and QA to maintain high-quality performance standards.
Version Control and Deployment
- Utilize Git repositories for version control to track changes and maintain code integrity.
- Employ proper staging and deployment practices for safe updates and feature rollouts.
Advanced Development Expertise
- PHP and JavaScript Proficiency: Write clean, modular, and scalable code for customized WordPress functionalities.
- Develop RESTful APIs to integrate third-party systems with WordPress.
- Utilize modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for dynamic front-end development.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving overall website design and functionality.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on the latest WordPress technologies, trends, and best practices to drive innovation.
- Ensure adherence to SEO and accessibility guidelines to enhance search rankings and usability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Strong understanding of WordPress core, hooks, actions, and filters.
- Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or npm.
- Experience with responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and optimization plugins.
- Strong debugging skills and attention to detail.

- Experience with Elementor and other popular WordPress page builders.
- Knowledge of server management and hosting environments.
