We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to streamline deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure for a Next.js frontend (hosted on Vercel) and a Laravel API (hosted on Vultr).
This is part time position for ongoing DevOps support and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments
- Manage GitHub workflows, testing and automation
- Improve and monitor Next.js (Vercel) & Laravel (Vultr) infrastructure
- Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient deployments
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for better performance tracking
- Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps-related issues
Requirements:
- Min 5 years experience
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Expertise in server management, Docker, and cloud hosting
- Experience with Laravel & Next.js deployments
- Ability to optimize costs, security, and performance
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, New Relic, etc.)
- Previous work on scalable APIs and high-traffic apps
